Saigon Co.op ensures smooth and timely transportation through a system of distribution centers, satellite warehouses located in all regions of the country and strategic cooperation contracts with transportation partners. To ensure the quality of food hygiene and safety for Tet goods, the unit increases the frequency of checking goods sold in the system to 2-3 times higher than normal days. Food items, especially those serving Tet such as cakes, candies, ham, vegetables, fruits, etc., are quality checked right at the distribution center and quickly tested before being put on supermarket shelves. The tested indicators include: antibiotics in seafood, pesticide residues, microbiological indicators, growth stimulants, borax, formalin, bleach, etc.
