After many years of hiatus, YKK and Real Madrid Foundation have returned to Vietnam with the desire to create opportunities for disadvantaged children to be trained and coached using professional methods. The event taking place in Ho Chi Minh City this time will be led by professional coaches of the Real Madrid Foundation.

The YKK ASAO children's football training course in cooperation with the Real Madrid Foundation (RMF) lasted from November 8-10 at the Mansion Sports Club (Ho Chi Minh City) with the participation of about 300 children from orphanages and disadvantaged families.

On the first day, three coaches from RMF will impart Real Madrid’s world-class coaching methods and techniques to more than 30 coaches in Ho Chi Minh City. The following two days, coaches from RMF and Vietnam will participate in the training process for the children, thereby providing them with a unique experience.

This is not only a sporting event but also an opportunity for children to learn valuable values such as teamwork, perseverance, and the will to succeed. These soft skills will help them develop more comprehensively, not only in sports but also in their daily lives. YKK will donate all the footballs and training equipment to children's villages, shelters and schools, encouraging them to continue pursuing their passion for football and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The success of the event over the years has benefited thousands of disadvantaged children, giving them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience up close with RMF's renowned football coaches.

Speaking at a press conference on the morning of November 8, Mr. Kosuke Miimi, Chairman of YKK Holding Asia Pte. Ltd, affirmed: "This is an important program, not only for the benefit of children but also for the community. This event creates opportunities for children with limited opportunities to participate in sports and unite the community through the love of football. The training course is also an opportunity for children to learn valuable values such as team spirit, perseverance, and the will to succeed. These soft skills will help children develop more comprehensively, not only in sports but also in daily life."

The YKK ASAO Children's Football Training Course started in 2007, aiming to promote the comprehensive development of children through sports and targeting disadvantaged children aged 8 to 17. This meaningful event has been held in many countries such as Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam. This is the 4th time the program has been present in Vietnam and the 3rd time held in Ho Chi Minh City, besides the one in Hanoi in 2019.
