Launching State Bank Region 14, headquartered in Can Tho

The State Bank of Vietnam organized the launching of State Bank Region 14 including Can Tho, Soc Trang, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu and Vinh Long, headquartered in Can Tho city.

On the morning of March 25, in Can Tho city, the State Bank of Vietnam organized the announcement of the decision and launched the State Bank of Region 14.

According to the decision, State Bank Region 14 includes the following localities: Can Tho, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu and Vinh Long, with headquarters located in Can Tho city.

Mr. Tran Quoc Ha, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Can Tho City Branch (formerly) is acting Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 14.

Speaking here, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong said that implementing Resolution 18 of 2017 of the Politburo, the banking system has been streamlined when 63 state bank branches have been reorganized and rearranged into 15 regional state bank branches.

"The banking industry is one of the industries that has implemented very quick and official arrangements from 1-3 years, the entire system including organizational structure, apparatus, and system connections all operate very effectively, without any congestion.

Regarding personnel work, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Bank has reviewed, evaluated and basically arranged positions, including the arrangement and assignment of regional directors," Ms. Hong informed.
