The Provincial Party Committee has paid close attention to and directed the work of mass mobilization, internal affairs, judicial reform and anti-corruption. The activities of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass associations have increasingly innovated their content and methods of operation in line with the local political situation and tasks.
Regarding socio-economic development leadership, in 2023, 26 targets were achieved and exceeded the plan, 2 targets were not achieved. The economic growth rate reached 8.05%, ranking 15th in the country. The implementation of key industrial projects has many positive signals; agricultural production has a comprehensive harvest; total budget revenue in the area in 2023 reached 17,946 billion VND, equal to 102.6% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government; total investment capital implemented in the whole society is estimated at 51,124 billion VND, reaching 113.6% of the plan.
The cultural sector has achieved many positive results. Many social security activities have been implemented, creating a wide spread; the poverty rate at the end of 2023 was 3.01%, down 0.78% compared to the end of 2022. National defense and security are ensured.
