This afternoon, January 11, the program "Tet gifts for the poor" on the occasion of the Spring of At Ty - 2025 organized by Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup) and Quang Tri Newspaper continued to present 229 Tet gifts to households in especially difficult circumstances and poor households in Vinh Linh district. On this occasion, 229 gifts, each worth 600,000 VND, were handed over by Quang Tri Newspaper to poor households and families in especially difficult circumstances as reported in the newspaper's "Addresses in need of help" column in the communes of Vinh Tu, Vinh Long, Vinh Son, Vinh Thuy, Vinh Giang, Vinh Thai, Vinh Lam and Ho Xa town.
Unfortunately, due to a work accident, Nguyen Khac Luu's legs were completely paralyzed, making his life difficult as he had to single-handedly support a child in high school.

Receiving gifts from benefactors, Mr. Luu emotionally shared: “I myself am now no longer able to work, my life as a father and son depends mainly on monthly allowances, so it is extremely difficult, especially during the Tet holiday.
This is the second time I have received a gift from the program "Tet Gifts for the Poor" of Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund, so I am very excited. Although the gift is not big, it is a motivation for me to try to raise my children and improve my life. I would like to thank the benefactors very much."
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Vice Chairman of Vinh Linh District People's Committee Nguyen Thien Tung deeply thanked the attention and support of hundreds of gifts from the "Tet Gifts for the Poor" Program organized by Thien Tam Fund and Quang Tri Newspaper to people in the district.
This is a timely encouragement, helping families in difficult circumstances have more expenses to cover during the Tet holiday.
At the same time, we hope that in the coming time, with the spirit of mutual love and support, we hope to receive more support and sharing from Quang Tri Newspaper, Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup) in particular and the social community and philanthropists in taking care of the lives of the poor so that they can have a better life.
