National Assembly discusses public debt borrowing and repayment plan for 2021-2025 period

In the morning, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the mid-term assessment of the implementation of the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period, the national financial plan, and borrowing and repayment of public debt for the 5-year period of 2021-2025.

The National Assembly also discussed the implementation of the state budget in 2023, the state budget estimate, and the central budget allocation plan for 2024 (including the 3-year state budget-finance plan for 2024-2026; the implementation of the state budget public investment plan in 2023, the expected state budget public investment plan in 2024; the implementation of the 2023 financial plan, the expected 2024 financial plan of extra-budgetary state financial funds managed by the central government; and the addition of the 2023 regular state budget expenditure estimate for ministries, central agencies, and localities).

At the meeting, Government members will explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

In the afternoon, after Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh presented a report explaining, accepting and revising, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a number of contents with different opinions of the draft Law on Credit Institutions (amended).

The submitting agency and the agency in charge of the review will coordinate to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
