Quang Nam promotes the application of national quality management standards in public service activities

According to the above decision, the ISO Provincial Steering Committee was strengthened with the Head of the Committee being the leader of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the field of science and technology; the Deputy Head of the Committee being the Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Members include the Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Directors of the Departments of Home Affairs, Justice, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Industry and Trade, Construction, Health, Education and Training, Culture - Sports and Tourism, Ethnicity and Religion.

The Steering Committee also includes the Provincial Inspector, Head of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board and leaders of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality (Department of Science and Technology) as secretaries.

The Provincial ISO Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in directing, inspecting, and urging the implementation of the construction and application of the quality management system according to TCVN ISO 9001:2015 standards in the operations of agencies in the state administrative system in the province. The Department of Science and Technology is assigned the role of the standing agency of the Steering Committee.

The consolidation of the Provincial ISO Steering Committee contributes to promoting the implementation of national quality management standards in the operations of state administrative agencies in the province.
