On the morning of March 20, at the Memorial Site of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to Xuan La ward, the Tay Ho District Youth Union held a ceremony to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025); awarding the title of outstanding young party member and the 2025 Red Torch Award.
At the ceremony, leaders of Tay Ho district and union members and youth of the district respectfully offered incense to commemorate and express their infinite gratitude to beloved President Ho Chi Minh - who, together with the Party, founded and trained the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; and to remember and express gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
In his speech commemorating the 94-year history of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Secretary of the District Youth Union and Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Tay Ho District, Dinh Ngoc Thanh, emphasized: The youth of the capital in general and the youth of Tay Ho District in particular always inherit and promote the revolutionary struggle tradition of Vietnamese youth, the heroic, talented and elegant tradition of Hanoi people.
After 30 years of construction and development, 22 affiliated Youth Unions and more than 5,000 members have made special marks, with comprehensive breakthroughs in all aspects of work. The District Youth Union is proud to be an excellent unit in the Youth Union work and youth and children's movement in the capital for many consecutive years, worthy of being a reliable reserve force of the Party Committee and the District government.
With the courage, intelligence, creativity and modesty and receptiveness of the youth, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tay Ho district is determined to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, do a good job of education, build a generation of Tay Ho youth who are patriotic and self-reliant; steadfast in the ideals of national independence and socialism; have revolutionary ethics; are aware of law enforcement, live a cultured life, and are responsible to the community; actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style, pioneer in the application of science and technology, determined to start a business, contribute to the formation of a creative young generation, high-quality young human resources, join hands to build Tay Ho district into a service - tourism and cultural center of the capital.
Within the framework of the program, Tay Ho district awarded the title of outstanding young party member of Tay Ho district in 2025 to 14 party members; awarded the Red Torch Award to 18 excellent secretaries of the Youth Union branches in 2025. The District Youth Union also admitted 64 members of the 94th class of members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
