PTI. India and Bangladesh have moved to strengthen their defense ties and signed several agreements to expand cooperation in the areas of maritime security, ocean economy, space and telecommunications.

ET AUTO. South Korea's auto exports are expected to rise 5.4 percent year-on-year to $74.7 billion in 2024, the Korea Automobile and Mobility Association (KAMA) said.
FSS. Over the past six years, nearly 168 employees of South Korean banks and financial companies embezzled about 180 billion won (more than 122.21 million USD), but authorities have recovered less than 10 percent.

NATION THAILAND. Thailand and Timor Leste have agreed to waive visa requirements for visitors holding ordinary passports for 30 days, with the aim of promoting tourism between the two countries.
TASS. Iran has ratified an agreement to establish a free trade zone with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the official representative of the Iranian government, Ali Bahadori-Jahromi, said.
CHINA DAILY. At least nine people were killed and 10 others injured when a bridge collapsed , sending two vehicles plunging into a river in Barguna district, about 180 km south of Bangladesh's capital Dhaka.

DW. Greek authorities have arrested 13 people after determining that fireworks launched from a yacht caused a new forest fire on the island of Hydra near Athens.
