Ministry of Foreign Affairs awards Medal 'For the Cause of Vietnam's Diplomacy' to Ambassador of Dominican Republic

On March 28, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, authorized by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Director of the Americas Department Le Chi Dung awarded the "For the cause of Vietnamese diplomacy" Medal to Mr. Jaime Yorquis Francisco Rodriguez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director General Le Chi Dung highly appreciated the contributions of Ambassador Jaime Yorquis Francisco Rodriguez, who has helped deepen and expand many cooperation opportunities between the two countries in recent times. The Ambassador's contributions were acknowledged by President Luong Cuong during the farewell reception on March 20.

Director Le Chi Dung believes that, no matter where he is in his position, with his affection and understanding for Vietnam, the Ambassador will continue to be a bridge between the two peoples and continue to make positive contributions to promoting good relations between Vietnam and the Dominican Republic.

Mr. Le Chi Dung affirmed that these are noble awards to recognize the Ambassador's contributions during his term in Vietnam.
