District 5: More than 1,000 students, teachers and parents participate in Creative Science Festival

On the morning of May 28 at Van Lang Park (District 5), the Economic Department, the Department of Education and Training of District 5 coordinated with the District Youth Union and the Labor Federation of District 5 to organize the 2023 Creative Science Festival for students, teachers and union members from grassroots units in District 5. The festival attracted nearly 1,000 people to participate in competitions and diverse and interesting experiential activities.

At the festival, one of the accompanying units, KDI Education, organized many competitions on science and technology applications such as "Manufacturing smart vehicles" for primary school students, "Programming drones" for secondary school students, "Creating digital transformation models in schools" for high school students and "Displaying civilized and modern office and unit models" for trade unions at grassroots levels.

In addition, students can also participate in interesting experiential activities such as controlling robots to play soccer, making load-bearing bridge models, making hand sanitizer, dancing with robots...

Through these activities, children are nurtured with love and passion for science and technology, increasing their sense of innovation and creativity, thereby making more efforts in studying and forming breakthrough ideas.

Students enjoy participating in experiential activities at the festival.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, Head of the Economic Department of District 5, said that this is one of the annual activities organized by the People's Committee of District 5. With diverse activities in content and subjects, this year's festival gathered more than 133 teams with nearly 500 contestants participating in many different competitions.

The virtual reality experience area attracted a large number of students to participate.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded first prizes to Van Lang Primary School, Hong Bang Secondary School, Hung Vuong High School and Ly Phong Secondary School Union.

Awarding prizes to groups with high achievements in competitions

The award is a strong encouragement and motivation for units to continue promoting the spirit of innovation and application of science and technology in all fields of study and work.
