Phu Quy: Opening of Vietnamese goods fair on islands

BTO-On the evening of April 4, the 2025 Vietnamese Goods Market on the Islands in Phu Quy District, co-organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan, officially opened at the District's Culture - Information - Sports Center. This is also an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the Liberation of the South, National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Taking place over 3 days (from April 4 to 6, 2025), this Vietnamese Goods to the Island Fair has 22 enterprises from inside and outside the province participating with 30 booths, mainly in product groups: Fish sauce, seafood, food, soft drinks, footwear, fashion clothes, cosmetics... Many of which are OCOP products, typical rural industrial products of Binh Thuan and the southern provinces and cities.

According to the Organizing Committee, in addition to the sales activities aimed at promoting the movement “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods”, the market also helps businesses directly promote their products, brands and seek opportunities to expand the market in the island district. At the same time, it creates favorable conditions for Phu Quy people to access a variety of quality Vietnamese goods, thereby choosing to shop at prices suitable to the income of the people here...

On this occasion, businesses participating in the fair also awarded scholarships to poor but excellent students and gifts to disadvantaged households in Phu Quy area with a total value of nearly 20 million VND.
