On the morning of January 30, the Organizing Committee of the 2023 Nghe An Province Golden Hammer and Sickle Press Award held an award ceremony, launching a response to participate in the national press award on Party building and the 2024 Nghe An Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.

In 2023, in response to the press writing contest on the topic of Party building called Golden Hammer and Sickle launched by the Central Committee, under the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Press Award of Nghe An province, the Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications to issue an official dispatch to launch and develop the award rules, receiving positive response from a large number of reporters, members, and press agencies operating in the province.

Out of thousands of published and broadcast works, press agencies and authors have selected to send to the Organizing Committee 133 works in 5 types of journalism: print, electronic, radio - television and press photos.
