It is known that the above incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. on May 31, after a Hue singing performance on a cruise ship at the Toa Kham tourist boat dock (Le Loi Street, Phu Hoi Ward, Hue City).

At that time, this guest was assisted by a boat owner and local people to bring him from the dragon boat on the Huong River to shore in a state of not being able to control himself, showing signs of using a lot of alcohol and beer.

The man was taken to the marina management house to rest. However, he vomited, took off his shirt and pants, and started yelling, cursing, and causing a ruckus in the marina area.

At this time, in addition to local people, some boat owners, Hue singing artists, there were also many tourists passing by to witness.

Not only that, this person kept saying bad things. The dock staff and local people tried to persuade him but failed, so they tried to contact his relatives to take him home.

Through verification, the man with the above offensive behavior is the General Secretary, currently holding the position of Deputy Head of the Movement Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thua Thien Hue province.

Speaking with VietNamNet on the afternoon of June 2, Mr. Nguyen Nam Tien, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, said that the unit's leaders had grasped information about the incident.

"We have asked Mr. T. to write a self-criticism and report the incident. With Mr. T.'s actions like this, the agency will definitely hold a meeting to discipline him," said Mr. Tien.
