In the area of ​​more than 40 hectares of cantaloupe and netted cantaloupe damaged by storm No. 3 in Pham Tran commune (Gia Loc), Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau kindly shared and encouraged people to soon overcome difficulties and restore production.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long visited and inspected the melon and cantaloupe growing areas in Pham Tran commune and Doan Thuong Secondary School (in Gia Loc district). These are the areas that suffered heavy damage.

At Doan Thuong Secondary School, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long noted that safety must be ensured before allowing students to return to school.

On behalf of the Government and Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long sympathized with the impacts on the people in general and those whose properties were damaged in particular in Hai Duong province. The Deputy Prime Minister commended and acknowledged the province's efforts in storm prevention.

To share and join hands with Hai Duong people to overcome the difficulties and impacts caused by storm No. 3, the Prime Minister has decided to support the province to help the affected people.

The leaders of Hai Duong province thanked the Government for its concern, encouragement and sharing with the officials and people of Hai Duong, and affirmed that the whole province is overcoming difficulties and making the highest efforts to promptly overcome the damage after the storm. In particular, the province is inspecting and comprehensively repairing all damaged schools, including potential risks after the storm, adjusting the school schedule to suit the actual situation, ensuring absolute safety for students before going to school.

Earlier, in the afternoon of the same day, comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the damage recovery work after storm No. 3 in Ninh Giang and Gia Loc districts.
