Dissemination of new tax policies and dialogue with taxpayers, phase 1, 2025

(LĐ online) - On March 25, the Tax Department of Region XIII organized the "Online conference to disseminate new tax policies and dialogue with taxpayers, phase 1, 2025".

This activity is part of the program to implement the peak month of accompanying taxpayers in 2025, aiming to support taxpayers to perform well in tax settlement in 2024 and promptly listen, receive and answer questions of businesses, organizations and individuals in the process of fulfilling tax obligations, issues related to the application of tax policies and regulations, especially new tax policies in 2025.

The conference was held at 4 locations in 4 provinces under the management of the Tax Department of Region XIII, including: Headquarters location in Khanh Hoa and Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Lam Dong locations.

Attending the conference, on the tax authority side, there were Deputy Heads of the Tax Department of Region XIII, leaders and civil servants from the Business Support Management Department, Inspection and Examination Department, Professional, Budgeting and Legal Department; Personal Tax Department, Business Household Tax Department and Other Tax Department, and Inter-district Tax Teams.

The online conference attracted the participation of nearly 3,000 taxpayers, business representatives, and business organizations operating in the area managed by the Tax Department of Region XIII.

In the section Dissemination of tax policies, the representative of the Tax Department of Region XIII guided taxpayers on the points to note in the finalization of Corporate Income Tax and Personal Income Tax for the 2024 finalization period; at the same time, a video was shown introducing new tax policy points that will take effect in 2025.

In the dialogue, the Tax Department received and directly answered many tax questions from businesses, focusing mainly on issues such as: tax code registration, personal income tax settlement, determination of corporate income tax incentives, value added tax rates, interest expenses when calculating corporate income tax, subjects subject to natural resource tax, environmental protection fees; related party transactions, etc.

Under the direction and chairing of the Conference by Chairman Nguyen Kim Thai Linh - Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Region XIII, after a period of urgent work, the Conference was successfully held. In general, with the active participation of enterprises and taxpayers, together with the frankness and openness in the exchange process of the Tax Department, many problems of taxpayers were resolved. In addition to the questions that the Tax Department answered directly at the Conference, many questions sent by taxpayers, representatives of enterprises and organizations to the Conference will be edited and posted by the Tax Department on the website of the Tax Department of Region XIII.

The Tax Department of Region XIII pledges to continue to accompany businesses and taxpayers, promote administrative procedure reform, apply information technology, innovate and diversify forms of propaganda to support taxpayers, improve the quality of public services and transparency and professionalism in tax management. The Tax Department wishes to listen to and receive comments and contributions from businesses and taxpayers to further improve tax policies, remove difficulties and obstacles, and promote sustainable development of the business community and taxpayers.
