Review demand and timely disburse capital for social housing loan program

Customers receive loans to buy social housing at the Transaction Office of the People's Credit Fund of Cai Rang district.

Pursuant to Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025 of the Prime Minister on assigning targets for completing social housing in 2025 and the following years until 2030 for localities to supplement to socio-economic development targets, the City People's Committee requests the city's departments, branches, socio-political organizations and People's Committees of districts and towns to organize the implementation to people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs who are eligible for housing improvement support according to the provisions of the Ordinance on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolution; all cadres, civil servants and public employees at units and agencies, units under the city's departments, branches and sectors; officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers of the people's armed forces, police workers, civil servants, workers and defense officials on active duty; people working in secretarial work, people working in other secretarial organizations receiving salaries from the state budget; poor and near-poor households, low-income people in urban areas, workers and laborers working at enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions inside and outside industrial parks on the social housing loan program at the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies so that eligible subjects and those in need of loans can access this source of capital. Assign the Department of Construction to publicly announce the list of social housing construction projects that meet the prescribed conditions in the city so that people can access them... Assign the Chairman of the People's Committee of the district to direct the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level to proactively coordinate with socio-political organizations, the Transaction Office of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in the district and related sectors to organize propaganda, review and synthesize the demand for social housing loans to build or renovate and repair houses in 2025; Organize quick and timely loan appraisal to meet the borrowing needs of beneficiaries. The Director of the Can Tho City Social Policy Bank Branch directs the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office to organize the timely receipt of documents, appraisal, and approval of loans, in accordance with the prescribed processes and procedures; summarize the capital needs for loans to buy, hire-purchase social housing, housing for the people's armed forces; build or renovate, repair houses in 2025 and submit to the Head of the Representative Board of the City Social Policy Bank for consideration and approval before April 3, 2025 to report to the Central Social Policy Bank to adjust the targets (if any).
