Along with the restoration and embellishment work, Hau Loc district has strengthened the propaganda and promotion of relics associated with a number of festivals; organized professional training courses on training tour guides at relics; coordinated with schools and youth unions in the district and province to organize activities about the source; recruited young people at a number of historical revolutionary relics. In the coastal area of Hau Loc, around the second lunar month, the traditional festival of Duc Thanh Ca Temple (Da Loc Commune) takes place with many activities, of which the most prominent is the spring palanquin procession. Located in Van Thang village, Duc Thanh Ca Temple is a unique place for community cultural and religious activities, typical of coastal fishermen. In order to ensure social order and safety and implement a civilized lifestyle during festivals, Hau Loc District People's Committee directed the cultural sector and localities with relics and festivals to continue to strengthen the management and organization of religious activities and festivals in the district in early spring. In addition, propaganda and mobilization to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors, people and tourists to seriously implement the State's regulations on organizing festivals; Commune People's Committees, relic management boards, scenic spots, festival management boards, temples, pagodas, etc. in areas near forests coordinate with forest rangers and forest owners to effectively implement forest fire prevention plans, strengthen propaganda for tourists from all directions, and ensure safety in the areas where festivals and relics take place. In particular, implementing Circular 04/2023/TT-BTC dated January 19, 2023 of the Minister of Finance, Hau Loc District People's Committee has directed specialized departments, communes and towns to review documents related to the management of financial revenue and expenditure for festival organization and donation money, sponsorship for relics and festival activities managed by the District People's Committee and People's Committees of communes and towns. "Religious activities at relics and festivals have actively contributed to educating traditions, raising awareness for all levels and sectors on the management, preservation, and promotion of traditional cultural values, strengthening the management and promotion of the values of relics, making an important contribution to building grassroots cultural life", said Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Hau Loc District.
