Among them, there are 30 websites impersonating e-commerce platforms and e-commerce delivery service providers such as Amazon, eBay, Taobao, Shopee, Vietnam Post, Giao hang tiet kiem, Giao hang nhanh; 16 websites impersonating major brands such as Facebook, Telegram, TikTok, VinGroup, Viettel, VNG; 15 websites impersonating websites of state agencies and organizations and 11 websites impersonating banks and financial institutions.
In addition, in 2024, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy also received and handled 165 reports of violations: Not registering, not notifying websites/applications, providing products that do not ensure quality, impersonating other businesses to defraud customers...
The unit also coordinated with police investigation agencies in provinces and cities to provide information to verify violations of dozens of websites/applications in e-commerce, such as: Retamino68.com, cronbase2.one, vluky.com and 323.com, tienlientaybb2.com...
In Phu Yen, in 2024, the Phu Yen Market Management Department organized specialized inspections on e-commerce, discovered and handled a number of businesses and individuals trading goods through websites and personal Facebook systems but did not notify the e-commerce website selling goods to the competent state management agency as prescribed before selling goods; used the notified symbol to attach to the e-commerce website selling goods without approval or confirmation of the notification of the competent state agency...
