Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: In recent years, the province has synchronously and effectively implemented social security policies and cared for the material and spiritual lives of the people, including housing support policies. However, due to many difficulties in local resources, the proportion of ethnic minorities accounts for more than 24% of the population in the whole province, so there are still more than 2,600 households facing housing difficulties.
Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the ceremony.
Responding to the Prime Minister's call, with the goal of basically completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and people affected by natural disasters and climate change in the province by the end of 2025, he requested all levels and sectors to focus on effectively mobilizing resources from the state, businesses and the entire population to have enough resources to successfully implement the set goals. Implementing the plan ensures regulations and compliance with the law in the process of providing housing support to people with the requirement of not targeting the wrong subjects, not omitting any subjects and not allowing petitions and complaints to occur; media and press agencies promote propaganda work, create social consensus for everyone to support, share, and share responsibility in caring for the material and spiritual lives of the people, especially the poor, the disadvantaged, and those in difficult circumstances. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and mass organizations participate in mobilizing union members, association members and people to support the movement; at the same time, promote the role of social supervision and criticism on social security policies, and eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
Next, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee spoke in response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, with the message "A million loving hearts - A thousand happy homes"; thereby, calling on businesses, agencies, organizations, collectives, individuals, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces and all classes of people in the province with the spirit of solidarity, "mutual love and affection", to join hands and contribute to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, helping people "settle down and have a job", feel secure in working and producing, developing the economy, and gradually rising out of poverty sustainably.
Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province received support of 200 million VND from Hacom Holdings Investment Joint Stock Company.
On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received support from a number of businesses and officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command, with an amount of more than 1.3 billion VND.
Provincial leaders performed the groundbreaking ceremony to build a house for Mr. Mai Ba's family.
After the ceremony, the provincial leaders participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a house for Mr. Mai Ba's family in Da Liet village, Phuoc Khang commune (Thuan Bac). The house has an area of about 45 square meters, with a construction cost of 140 million VND; of which, the provincial "For the Poor" fund and the district "For the Poor" fund supported 70 million VND, the provincial People's Committee 20 million VND, the rest was mobilized from family and relatives.
