On the afternoon of May 31, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with Dien Quang Pagoda (Bac Ninh) to organize the Opening Program of "Charity Porridge Pot" and distribute free porridge to support patients in difficult circumstances at the Provincial Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital.

Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Provincial Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital; representatives of the Lao Cai Charity Heart Club; and representatives of Dien Quang Pagoda (Bac Ninh province).
At the opening ceremony, 50 hot, nutritious porridges were given free of charge to patients in the joy and emotion of both the givers and the receivers. The bowls of porridge from the benefactors contained love and a heart of sharing with those in difficult circumstances, helping them have more motivation to overcome their illness.

The "Pot of Love Porridge" program for patients in difficult circumstances will be carried out every Tuesday and Thursday morning (50 servings of porridge each time) at the hospital and will last for 1 year.

The porridge portions given to the patients convey the sentiments and spirit of “helping each other” from the donors, with the desire to help, share, and provide nutritional support to the patients being treated at the hospital.
