On the morning of March 18, 2025, Cao Bang Petroleum Company (Petrolimex Cao Bang/Company) held an inauguration ceremony and installed the sign "Project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Petroleum Group" at the Company's Headquarters.
Attending the plaque-mounting ceremony were Mr. Hoang Van Thach - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nong Van Khuong - Deputy Director of Cao Bang Provincial Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Van Su - Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/Group), representatives of departments and branches of Cao Bang province, representatives of functional departments of the Group and leaders of Petroleum Companies, member units of the Group.
The Petrolimex Cao Bang Headquarters project is spacious and was rebuilt on the old, degraded and outdated headquarters. The project has a scale of 05 floors above ground, 01 attic floor; Construction area 480m2. Building height 26.4m. Total floor area 2,222m2.
The project started construction on April 19, 2023 and was completed on September 30, 2024 with a total investment of more than 30 billion VND. After more than 18 months of construction, the new headquarters of Petrolimex Cao Bang was handed over and put into use from December 31, 2024, affirming its role in ensuring energy security in the northern border region of the country; at the same time contributing to the development of the urban image of Cao Bang province. This is the first typical project chosen by the Group to have a signboard to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Group's establishment.
Speaking at the inauguration of the project, Party Secretary - Chairman and Director of Petrolimex Cao Bang Dam Thi Bang affirmed that the operation of the new office headquarters is of special importance, creating favorable conditions for the Company to improve operational efficiency, better meet the needs of customers, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Cao Bang province. In the coming time, the Company will continue to promote the achievements it has achieved, constantly innovate, create, improve service quality, build the Company stronger and stronger, worthy of the trust of customers and the community. On behalf of all leaders, employees and workers of the Company, Ms. Dam Thi Bang expressed her honor and pride that the Company's office headquarters is the first project chosen by the Group to have a signboard to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (January 12, 1956 - January 12, 2026).
Petrolimex Deputy General Director Nguyen Van Su acknowledged and commended the efforts of Petrolimex Cao Bang and the contractors who were proactive, dedicated and responsible during the construction process to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality, aesthetics and functionality. The inauguration of the new Headquarters not only marks a milestone in the development of Petrolimex Cao Bang, but also demonstrates the Group's strategic vision and concern for the Northern mountainous market. Putting the new headquarters into use also has the meaning of enhancing the image and reputation of Petrolimex in the locality, affirming the position of a key petroleum enterprise in Cao Bang province. The Group's Deputy General Director especially appreciated the strict compliance with regulations on labor safety, fire prevention, environmental protection and landscape throughout the construction process; In addition, the Board of Directors and all employees of the Company are requested to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity, improve service quality, expand the business network, ensure safety in production, organize the exploitation and use of office buildings effectively, contributing to building the Petrolimex brand increasingly stronger, contributing more to the socio-economic development of Cao Bang province.
This event is not only a meaningful milestone for Petrolimex Cao Bang but also creates excitement and encourages the spirit of emulation in production and labor, completing assigned tasks and plans in 2025 of all Petrolimex employees towards the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (January 12, 1956 - January 12, 2026), firmly accompanying the country into the new era.
