Russian President Vladimir Putin will begin his annual press conference and question-and-answer session at 4 p.m. today, December 19 (Vietnam time).
According to TASS, before the press conference, more than 2 million questions had been sent to President Putin from the public, after 11 days of being open to receive questions in various forms. The questions will be selected and Mr. Putin will have an overview of the questions sent in.
According to statistics from Rossiya-24, the most popular form of sending questions is still by phone, with more than 1.1 million calls to the direct line. In addition, more than 477,000 text messages were sent.

Previously, the press conference and the Q&A session were two separate events, but they were combined in 2020, the third time they have been held in this combined format. Since 2001, the Q&A session has been held 18 times, while the year-end press conference has been held 16 times, not including the times when the two events were combined.
