On December 28, Hung Vuong General Hospital said that two patients around 50 years old were taken to the emergency room at Hung Vuong - Kim Xuyen General Clinic (Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang) with severe burns to the face, hands and feet.
Both patients had severe burns on the face, both hands, the outer left thigh, both calves, and the left foot, covering an area of about 10% to 20%.
Receiving the patient, the doctors at the clinic quickly treated the burn, reduced pain, and prevented shock.

Immediately after being stabilized, both patients were transferred to Hung Vuong General Hospital for continued treatment.
Doctors said that the patient's health is currently stable and he has been transferred to the Department of Emergency Resuscitation and General Surgery 2 for treatment, but recovery will take a long time.
Earlier, early in the morning while the two patients were sleeping, the phone that was plugged in to charge at the bedside suddenly exploded, causing the blanket and the person to catch fire. The patient added that he had left the phone plugged in to charge overnight the night before. The brand and condition of the phone and the charging cord the couple used are currently unknown.
In fact, there have been many accidents related to charging phones overnight or using phones while charging. The victims are of different ages and the injuries are also varied with many levels, even some cases of death.
Doctors recommend that people should pay attention when using their phones, not use them while charging, not charge overnight, and keep phone charging places away from people and flammable materials to avoid unfortunate accidents that affect health and life.
