The water level at 1:00 p.m. on September 10, 2024 at Ben De was 4 m (alarm level 3), at Gian Khau was 3.61 m (0.09 m below alarm level 3). On the Day River in Ninh Binh, it was 3.36 m (0.14 m below alarm level 3).
It is forecasted that in the next 12-24 hours, the water level on Hoang Long River at Ben De and Gian Khau will continue to rise. Tonight, the flood peak at Ben De is likely to reach 4.50-4.70 m, above alert level 3: 0.50-0.70 m; at Gian Khau, it will reach 4.00-4.20 m, above alert level 3: 0.30-0.50 m.
On the Day River in Ninh Binh, the water level continues to rise, likely to peak at noon tomorrow afternoon (September 11, 2024), at 3.50-3.80, above alert level 3: 0.0-0.30 m.

Ninh Binh Hydrometeorological Agency also warned of the risk of flooding and the possibility of other natural disasters: Rising river water levels combined with heavy rains, causing widespread flooding in riverside areas and communes of Gia Tien, Gia Hung, Gia Thinh; 2 schools in Kenh Ga village, Gia Thinh commune (outside the dike) of Gia Vien district; low-lying residential areas in communes of Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh city; flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas, steep slopes, communes of Nho Quan district, Hoa Lu district, Tam Diep city.
