Currently, human resources in the gaming industry in the Vietnamese market mainly come from majors such as Information Technology, Graphic Design, Computer Science. There are very few schools in our country that offer separate majors in this field.

Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology
After many years of research, the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology officially enrolls students in the Game Design and Development major with 200 quotas.
The program is expected to train for 4 years, targeting two groups of job positions: game designer and game developer, who can work at game studios in Vietnam or proactively start their own games.
The Academy plans to design a 4-year, 8-semester, 135-credit Game Design and Development training program. The program structure is a harmonious combination of technology and social sciences such as psychology, culture, economics, especially knowledge of law and security.
The school plans to enroll students in four ways: direct admission; based on the scores of the competency and thinking assessment exams of Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology; combined admission; based on the results of the high school graduation exam.
RMIT University
RMIT University offers a Game Design program at both its Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City campuses. The program focuses on training creative leaders responsible for bringing a game to life, integrating the qualities of a writer, artist and programmer.
When studying this major at RMIT University, students will have the opportunity to develop their own game products, from board games to video games, through design sketches and playtesting. Creative game projects promise to be a highlight.

British University Vietnam
Since 2018, British University Vietnam has started teaching Game Design and Programming, awarded by Staffordshire University, with the same curriculum and teaching quality as the UK awarding unit.
The program has become the optimal choice for young people who have a passion for creating multi-platform games, training students to become excellent bachelors, welcomed by leading businesses.
British University Vietnam recruits students by selection and meets one of the following 3 requirements: Achieve an average IELTS score of 4.5, with no skill below 4.0; Complete the IELTS Foundation Program at British University Vietnam; Have an English proficiency assessment result at Intermediate level.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology
Hanoi University of Science and Technology has not yet opened a separate training program for the gaming industry, but if you want to pursue this field, you can refer to the recruitment information for the Information Technology major, specializing in Computer Science at the school.
In 2024, the school plans to enroll students using three methods: talent assessment, thinking assessment, and high school graduation exam scores. With the high school graduation exam score method, last year the admission standard for this major was 29.42 points (A00; A01).
