National Economics University opens 2 new majors, increasing enrollment quota by 550

According to the enrollment plan, this year the National Economics University will enroll 73 majors/training programs (an increase of 7 codes compared to 2024). Of which, 2 new majors will be opened and taught in Vietnamese, including: International Trade Law and Labor Relations, each major has 50 quotas.

The school maintains the same admission methods as last year, including:

• Direct admission applies to students in one of the following groups: policy beneficiaries, directly admitted according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; third prize or higher in national excellent student competitions; first prize or higher in national science and technology competitions.
• Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam with 4 groups, including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), there is no difference between the groups. The threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) with this method is 20 points, as in recent years. Candidates who are eligible for direct admission but do not use it will be added 1-2 points when registering for admission using the graduation exam score.
• Combined admission, for 3 groups of candidates:
• Group 1 is for students with international SAT certificates from 1200/1600 or ACT 26/36 or higher.
• Group 2 is for candidates with a minimum score of 85/150 HSA, 700/1200 APT or 60/100 TSA on the aptitude test. Candidates can apply based on their test results alone or in combination with an international English certificate such as IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or higher.
• Group 3 is candidates with an English certificate combined with a graduation exam score in Math and another subject. The certificate requirements are similar to group 2.

This year, for the first time, the school has recruited advanced, high-quality training programs from the beginning with 5 separate codes (2 advanced training program codes and 3 high-quality training program codes). Compared to last year, these programs recruit students after students are admitted. The majors include:

In the 2025-2026 school year, the tuition fee for the standard program of the National Economics University is from 18-25 million VND, with a commitment to increase tuition fees by no more than 10% per school year.
