The program "Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025" with the theme "Shine Your Vibes - Show your own personality" is part of the series of activities of the Hanoi International Light Festival 2025, organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper, Hanoi People's Committee, Tay Ho District People's Committee, implemented by Sun Bright Creative Arts and Events Joint Stock Company and LoonEyes Studio LLC deploying drones to open freely to the public.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said that with the desire to spread the message of joy and solidarity, welcoming the New Year of At Ty 2025, expressing the aspiration and determination to enter a new era of the nation, Nhan Dan Newspaper together with the People's Committee of Hanoi City, the People's Committee of Tay Ho District and partners coordinated to organize the program "Light Concert - Welcome the New Year 2025".
"This is the opening event of the Hanoi International Light Festival, which we hope will become an annual event that the public looks forward to, creating a cultural and tourist highlight of the capital Hanoi," affirmed Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh.
Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh also said that “Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025” with the theme “Radiating Uniqueness” is an elaborate art program, combining traditional music with modern lighting technology and cultural heritage. In the West Lake cultural space, for the first time, 2,025 drones combined with a symphony orchestra to create unique images, telling stories about the history and cultural heritage of the capital. The program also brings together Vietnam’s leading artists, representing the intersection between tradition and modernity.
In addition, comrade Le Quoc Minh also said that right after the program "Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025", Nhan Dan Newspaper and its partners will continue to organize many events, conferences, seminars... within the framework of the Hanoi International Light Festival to promote the capital to become the leading cultural and creative destination in the region, contributing to the development of tourism and night-time economy of Hanoi.
“Light Concert – Welcome New Year 2025” consists of 2 parts. Part 1 “Color of Time” includes musical works that have long left an impression on the audience about Hanoi, with its own identity and melodies associated with the Capital, mixed with contemporary folk music. The audience will enjoy the music through a special visualization like a journey through beautiful memories of Hanoi.
Part 2 “Colors of the Era” includes vibrant, modern songs and impressive, creative light shows. This part shows the blend of musical personalities participating in the program, thereby implying the meaning of the transition between the present and the future. Music will become a bridge of love between people to be sublimated and exploded. The main sound is electronic music, creating a colorful and sound-filled enjoyment space, creating harmony and connecting positive emotions to look towards a bright future.
Opening the program, singer Do Hoang Hiep heated up the atmosphere of the music night with the classic song "Nguoi Ha Noi". With a powerful, smooth high voice but still carrying the fiery spirit of rock, Hoang Hiep brought a completely new color to the song that has become a legend of the people of Hanoi.
Another powerful singer, Ha Le, surprised the audience when she sang along with People's Artist Thanh Hoa in the familiar song "Spring in the rice village, flower village". The youthfulness and fresh energy of Ha Le combined with the solidity and experience of the ageless voice of People's Artist Thanh Hoa, along with the ex-parts, created an unexpected appeal for the song associated with the name of People's Artist Thanh Hoa.
Previously, Ha Le also brought a new color to the song "Remembering Hanoi".
The energetic young voices continued to bring attractive performances to part 1 when performing familiar songs in a completely new style. Singer Kieu Anh showed off her voice with "Hong Hong Tuyet Tuyet" mash-up with "Mot Lanh Tay Ho", imbued with the Ca Tru style but still very youthful and modern. Meanwhile, singer Do Hoang Hiep continued to sublimate the audience's emotions with "Bay", before entering the light show.
Dronelight show "Hanoi rising to the new era" is the most anticipated performance of the program. 2,025 drones lit up the sky of West Lake, Hanoi with familiar images of Hanoi such as: Hanoi symbol, Ly dynasty dragon, 36 Hang streets, peace bird, symbol of City for Peace in the harmony of symphony orchestra, electronic orchestra and even in the "36 streets" Xam tune.
The talented duo Ha Le-Hoang Hiep once again showed the audience the performance of "Chiec khan pieu" at "Anh trai vuon ngan cong gai" in a very youthful, fresh and unique way. Interacting with the audience right after this performance, both expressed their pride in being children of Hanoi and performing in the sacred land of West Lake. Both sent a message to the audience, especially young people who are looking for Vietnamese nuances, that they should persevere on their journey, believe in what they are passionate about, when they have enough, the flowers will bloom.
Another talent that is also highly anticipated by young audiences is S(TRONG) Trong Hieu who heated up the atmosphere with "Rise up", "More interesting than that" and "Step to your side" with both his voice and dancing ability, which is known as a "dancing machine". Trong Hieu sent his wishes of strength, confidence, energy and daring to be himself to the young audiences. To further heat up the atmosphere, Trong Hieu also "suggested" the audience to sing the last two verses of the famous song "Hoa ca" from "Anh trai vuon ngan cong gai".
Continuing to heat up the night atmosphere, Big Daddy and Emily brought the audience youthful, vibrant songs that were also full of Hanoi character such as "Mua tham lang troi", "Muon ruou thuy tinh" or "Nhan tran - ngo cham".
Emily also performed with singer Kieu Anh in the medley "Love Nam - Pretty Bamboo Tree" with a combination of traditional music sounds and modern, youthful music.
Singer My Tam, one of the most anticipated artists of the program, performed the medley "Anh chua biet dau-Vi em qua yeu anh-Nu hon bat su-Nguoi hay quen em di", "Vi em tat ca" and "Nhe anh-Doi canh tinh yeu-Au mi toc tan". The "Au mi toc tan" also happily interacted with fans and expressed her love for Hanoi, with the enthusiasm of tens of thousands of Hanoi audiences standing in the cold wind waiting and listening, cheering for each performance of the program.
