Special cultural and artistic activities on the occasion of April 30 holiday

This weekend, at the walking street, Bach Dang night market (Hai Duong city), many exciting cultural and artistic activities will take place.

It is expected that from April 25 to May 20, at the Provincial Exhibition House, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize an exhibition of "Documentary and current photos; propaganda paintings to celebrate major holidays in April and May 2024". The exhibition consists of 2 parts. Part 1 introduces the photo series "70 years of Dien Bien Phu - forever resounding heroic epic" with about 100 photos collected and compiled by the Hai Duong Provincial Center for Culture and Arts from the sources of the National Museum of History and the Department of Grassroots Culture. Part 2 displays 70 propaganda paintings selected from nearly 200 works by 20 authors participating in the Hai Duong Provincial Propaganda Painting Competition 2024 organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association. These are works of high quality in terms of fine arts as well as propaganda content.

* It is expected that on April 26, Hai Duong City will organize the opening of Tue Tinh culinary street; many exciting activities will be held at the walking street and Bach Dang night market.

* From April 30 to May 25, the Film Distribution and Screening Department organized a mobile screening of the following films: "Dien Bien Memories" (produced by Vietnam Feature Film Studio; the documentaries "Dien Bien Phu Victory" produced by People's Army Cinema; "Dien Bien Phu", "Accompanying History" produced by the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio One Member Limited Liability Company.

In addition, the animated films "Angry Jungle" and "The Naughty Old Lady" produced by Vietnam Animation Studio Joint Stock Company will also be shown on this occasion.

* From April 26 to May 1, Lotte Cinema, Venus, and RameStar (Hai Duong City) also screened many attractive films to serve audiences during the holidays. Notably, the film "Flip Side 7: A Wish" by director and screenwriter Ly Hai; and the animated film "Fat Bear Strikes". Both films were released on April 26. In addition, the theaters continued to screen attractive romantic, comedic, and horror films such as: Youth 18x2: Journey to You, Fat Cat 10 Lives, The Price of Happiness, Luca's Summer; Exhuma: Grave Digging for Ghosts, Godzilla x Kong: New Empire...

* During holidays, Hai Duong Provincial Museum is still open to visitors.
