The Hung Kings Commemoration Festival is a journey to rediscover the history of nation-building and national defense, to embrace the will and aspirations for national independence, freedom, happiness, self-reliance, self-strength, prosperity, and development. The festival contributes to enriching and illuminating the truth: "Vietnam is one. The Vietnamese people are one. Rivers may dry up, mountains may erode, but that truth will never change," as President Ho Chi Minh once advised. With the spirit of national culture and the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," the Hung Kings Commemoration Day will forever remain one of the national holidays of Vietnam.
Local leaders and residents came to offer incense.
In Binh Thuan province , after nearly two centuries of existence, the Hung King Temple has become an indispensable part of the spiritual and religious life of the people. The temple was classified as a provincial-level artistic heritage site in 2010. It is the only temple dedicated to the National Ancestor in the province that still preserves a relatively complete range of tangible and intangible cultural values, and has been recognized as a national heritage site by the State.
Arts and literature celebrate the contributions of the Hung Kings and our ancestors who founded the nation.
In 2016, during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day in Phu Tho, the Binh Thuan delegation had the honor of receiving and bringing "the land, water, and incense" to the Hung Kings Temple in Phan Ri Cua town, which was chosen as the place of enshrinement and worship. With affection, honor, and responsibility, the people of Phan Ri Cua town have been entrusted by the province with the responsibility of maintaining the temple dedicated to the Hung Kings and offering incense to their ancestors. Since then, every year, people throughout the province return to the Hung Kings Temple to pledge their unity in building a more prosperous and beautiful Vietnam.
