On the morning of February 27, 3,238 young men from Dong Nai who were recruited for military service officially left for military service, including 2,904 young men participating in military service and 334 young men participating in limited-term police service.
This year, the Dong Nai Province Military Service Council continues to recruit enough young men to join the army in units of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 7 and the Ministry of Public Security.
Of these, 674 young men joined the army out of a total of 2,904 people with college and university degrees (accounting for 22.1%); 46 young men are civil servants and public employees working in localities (accounting for 1.5%)...
This year, many families with twin brothers volunteered and were recruited for military service.

At the military enlistment point in Dinh Quan district, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee - praised the young people who participated in performing the sacred duty of youth.
Mr. Linh encouraged the new recruits to uphold the traditions of their homeland, strictly abide by military discipline, set an example in complying with the unit's rules and regulations, strive to overcome difficulties, and excellently fulfill the tasks of revolutionary soldiers in the heroic Vietnam People's Army.
At the same time, he suggested that members of the Provincial Military Service Council and Dinh Quan District continue to pay attention to and take good care of the military's rear policy. After the military is stable, build a plan to visit and encourage new soldiers, helping the new recruits feel secure in training and maturing in the military environment.
