F88 store employee in Ho Chi Minh City was held to the neck by a woman with a knife.

On January 9, Tan Thoi Nhat Ward Police, District 12 (HCMC) are investigating a case of a woman holding a weapon and threatening an employee at the F88 store in the area.

The woman was restrained by local people and handed over to the police (Photo: Nguyen An).

At around 10am the same day, a woman in her 30s drove a motorbike to the F88 store on Phan Van Hon Street, Tan Thoi Nhat Ward, District 12.

This person suddenly pulled out a knife and put it to the neck of a female employee at the store and screamed. Discovering the incident, another employee immediately ran out into the street to shout.

Local people came to help control the woman and hand her over to the police. Tan Thoi Nhat Ward police are taking statements to investigate and clarify the woman's motive.
