Regarding the reflection that students were notified by the school to "stop training" because parents had opinions about the training program, Ngo Quyen High School has just issued a specific report on the incident and the solution.
Accordingly, in preparation for the new school year 2024 - 2025, the school informed and sought opinions from parents on arranging classes in a high-quality direction and received their consent. During the information exchange, the school hastily decided to "stop training" for NNH students (class 12xx) due to the lack of understanding between the school and the family.
On August 15, receiving instructions from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the school increased information, exchanges and reached consensus with the parents of the students. After that, the school issued a decision to revoke the decision to "stop training" for NNH students.
According to information from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, student NNH's family has received an apology from the school's Board of Directors and hopes that the incident will be closed to help their child stabilize his psychology, focus on studying well, and prepare for the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Previously, upon receiving information reflecting that Ngo Quyen High School had decided to "stop training" students, on August 15, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested the school's Principal to seriously implement a number of related contents, arrange and assign students to classes according to regulations, ensure the consensus of all students and parents of the class and the consensus of all teachers in the school's Pedagogical Council.
The Department requires that schools strictly implement the disclosure of information in accordance with the provisions of Circular 09, dated June 3, 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating disclosure in the activities of educational institutions in the national education system.
Public information as prescribed includes general information about educational institutions; financial revenues and expenditures; conditions for ensuring the quality of general education activities; plans and results of general education activities. The school strictly implements regulations of the education sector, ensuring the rights and legitimate aspirations of students.
