During her visit to several provinces in the Central Highlands, this afternoon, March 12, former Politburo member and former Permanent Vice President of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong offered incense at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the Trieu Phong District Martyrs Cemetery and the General Secretary Le Duan Memorial Site. Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang; Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan joined the delegation.

At Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and Trieu Phong District Martyrs' Cemetery, former Permanent Vice President of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong respectfully bowed to commemorate and pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation.
The sacrifice of heroic martyrs is a symbol of Vietnamese revolutionary heroism; a source of encouragement and motivation for comrades and compatriots to move forward to achieve final victory, leading the country to unity, peace and independence.
