At around 6:00 a.m. on February 13, at Cua Sot fishing port (Thach Kim commune, Loc Ha district), we recorded dozens of fishing boats of various capacities bustling in and out to anchor to sell seafood.

On the wharf and on the ship, the scene of transporting plastic trays containing various types of seafood from the ship's hold to the wharf, the scene of traders and people jostling to buy and sell seafood took place very bustlingly.

In particular, some 90CV boats fishing about 3-5 nautical miles from shore have hit the jackpot with tons of sea sardines, of which one boat caught about 1.1 tons, one boat caught nearly 2 tons, the rest ranged from 500kg to less than 1 ton...

According to some fishermen, the weather at the beginning of the new year was favorable, sunny and warm, the sea was calm, the boats set sail from 2 to 3 am and were lucky to catch many sea sardines. Immediately after being caught and brought to the ship's hold, these sea sardines were quickly brought to Cua Sot fishing port and sold to traders at prices ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 VND/kg, depending on the type, for transportation to frozen processing facilities. After selling out, the boats prepared enough fuel, ice, etc. and then returned to sea to continue fishing the next trip.
