With the above values ​​and meanings, on August 9, 2024, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 2323/QD-BVHTTDL announcing the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage for "The art of decorating poles of the Cor people", Tra Bong district, Quang Ngai province, belonging to the category of folk knowledge.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that the organization of the Ceremony to announce the certification of "The art of decorating the Neu tree of the Co people, Tra Bong district" into the list of national intangible cultural heritage is not only a recognition of long-standing cultural values, but also an affirmation of the importance of protecting, preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural heritage of the nation. ... At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the certificate of National Intangible Cultural Heritage for the art of decorating poles of the Cor people, Tra Bong district to the local government.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Tra Bong district also organized an award ceremony for units participating in displaying the decoration of the Cor ethnic group's poles in Tra Bong district. The organizing committee awarded the A prize to Tra Thuy, Tra Thanh, Tra Tay communes; the B prize to Tra Hiep, Tra Xinh, Son Tra communes and the C prize to Tra Phong, Tra Tan, Tra Lam, Tra Son, Tra Bui, Huong Tra communes.
