Humanitarian journey - spreading love

The Provincial Red Cross Society presented symbolic boards of mobilization targets to the Red Cross societies of districts, towns and cities.

On the morning of March 28, the Provincial Red Cross Society held a ceremony to launch the Humanitarian Month 2025 with the theme "Humanitarian journey - spreading love".   Humanitarian Month 2025 is associated with the movement "Good people, good deeds - Joining hands to build a compassionate community" from March 1 to May 31, of which the two peak weeks are from May 8 to 19.

The Provincial Red Cross Society presented a symbolic board to support the Red Cross Societies of districts, towns, and cities in the tasks and gifts implemented during the Humanitarian Month in 2025.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society Pham Ngoc Thanh shared that the Humanitarian Month 2025 with the theme "Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love" carries the message of a journey of compassion, in which anyone can participate, contribute, share, and be ready to help those in difficult circumstances.

All levels of the association strive to mobilize at least 7 billion VND to support 14,000 humanitarian addresses with activities such as connecting and coordinating the organization of incense offering and visits to 10 martyrs' cemeteries and historical revolutionary sites; visiting and giving gifts to 100 families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of martyrs, war invalids, veterans, and former youth volunteers in difficult circumstances. The Red Cross Association of each district, town, and city assists at least 1,000 people in difficult circumstances; organizes 2 programs of medical examination, health consultation, medicine provision, and gift giving with a scale of 300 - 500 people/program; connects and supports the construction of 3 Red Cross houses, etc.

“To make Humanitarian Month a month for the whole people to do humanitarian work, contributing to the implementation of the Party and State's social security policy, I hope that all levels of sectors, agencies, organizations, businesses, and kind-hearted people will continue to coordinate, support, and accompany the Red Cross at all levels in helping the poor and people in difficult circumstances,” said Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society Pham Ngoc Thanh.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Red Cross Society assigned targets for each district, town and city Red Cross Society to mobilize resources to support 14,000 humanitarian addresses. At the same time, it presented symbolic boards to support gifts and humanitarian works for districts, towns and cities to implement during the Humanitarian Month of 2025.

The Provincial Red Cross Society awarded humanitarian support funds for the second quarter of 2025 to Ta Quang Minh.

Implementing the campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address", at the ceremony, the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded funds to support a humanitarian address in the second quarter of 2025 for Ta Quang Minh, an 8th grade student with difficult circumstances in Nguyen Nghiem Ward (Quang Ngai City). Over the past two years, the Provincial Red Cross Society has mobilized resources from Mr. Le Quang Khanh, Director of Nam Trung Technical and Commercial Investment Company (Ho Chi Minh City) to regularly support 1.3 million VND/month, thereby contributing to creating conditions for Minh to improve in life and study.

Collectives received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their achievements in contributing and supporting the "Humanitarian Tet" movement in the period 2023 - 2025.
