On the morning of March 28, Quang Ngai Newspaper coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tu Nghia district and Nghia Trung commune (Tu Nghia) to organize the inauguration ceremony and handover of the house to Ms. Phan Thi Phuoc (70 years old); presented a symbolic plaque to support the cost of building a house to the family of Ms. Tran Thi Lac (63 years old), also in La Chau village.
Mrs. Phan Thi Phuoc is a near-poor household with difficult circumstances in La Chau village, Nghia Trung commune. She has no children, her husband has passed away, she lives alone in a makeshift, dilapidated house. A solid roof, sheltering from the sun and rain, has been her wish for many years.

“I never thought that one day I would live in a solid and spacious house like this. Looking at my new home, I am happy and grateful for the kindness of the staff, civil servants and workers of Quang Ngai Newspaper. After a lifetime of hard work, from now on, I can live happily in my old age,” Mrs. Phuoc emotionally expressed.

On the same morning, also in La Chau village, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc visited and presented a symbolic board of support of 60 million VND to build a house for the family of Mrs. Tran Thi Lac (63 years old), a poor household in the locality. This is the fund mobilized by Quang Ngai Newspaper from the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Dung Quat Branch ( BIDV Dung Quat).
Ms. Lac earns her living by selling lottery tickets. Her son is a freelancer and has no stable job. Due to extremely difficult circumstances and not being able to build their own house, for many years, the mother and son have had to temporarily live at her parents' house. With support from Quang Ngai Newspaper and BIDV Dung Quat, Ms. Lac and her son borrowed more money to build a new house with a total value of more than 200 million VND.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghia Trung Commune (Tu Nghia) Trinh Thi Thuy Hang said that, implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, Nghia Trung Commune aims to build and repair 9 houses for people with housing difficulties. The attention and support of officials, civil servants, and employees of Quang Ngai Newspaper, along with units and businesses, has brought much joy to people in difficult circumstances, as well as the local government. Currently, Nghia Trung Commune is a bright spot in the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tu Nghia District.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, handover of houses, as well as providing funding to support housing construction for households, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc shared the difficulties of the families. Hopefully, from the humanitarian gesture of the officials, civil servants, and employees of Quang Ngai Newspaper and supporting units and businesses, the families will have more motivation to improve their lives; contributing to the economic and social development of the locality.

In 2024, Quang Ngai Newspaper called for, mobilized, and built 12 solidarity houses for the poor and disadvantaged people in the province. In 2025, responding to the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, Quang Ngai Newspaper connected and mobilized units, businesses, and officials, civil servants, and employees of the agency to support the construction of 10 houses for families with housing difficulties, with a total amount of 590 million VND.
This is one of the meaningful activities to celebrate major events of Quang Ngai province in 2025, such as the 80th anniversary of Ba To Uprising Day (March 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
