* On the morning of December 8, the Government held a national online conference to deploy the construction and management of job positions in administrative agencies, organizations, and public service units. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang chaired the conference.
At the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang emphasized that the policies, guidelines and goals are clear and the implementation is meeting the aspirations of everyone. In recent times, this work has moved positively, ministries, branches and localities have taken part and issued guiding circulars.
Emphasizing that this is a difficult, complicated, and sensitive task, the Deputy Prime Minister said that even though it is difficult, it must still be done. In the coming time, ministries, branches, units, and localities must be more determined and drastic. The heads of localities, branches, and units must take primary responsibility for this task; strive for the highest quality in specific conditions, ensuring general principles, but need to be flexible, not subjective, not superficial. Within the allowed framework, there will be strong decentralization to localities, ministries, and branches.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested that the approval of all job position projects in administrative agencies, organizations and public service units of ministries, branches, units and localities must be completed before March 31, 2024.
*On December 8, provincial leaders attended the review conference of the Standing Committee of the Quynh Luu and Quy Chau District Party Committees.

The Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission suggested that after the review conference, the Standing Committee of the Quy Chau District Party Committee should supplement the working regulations of the Party Committee, more clearly defining the authority of collectives and individuals. Timely handle issues arising from key projects in the area, especially site clearance, medicinal plant development, etc.

* On the morning of December 8, the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district enforced the Decision on land recovery to implement the Project on Construction and Business of Infrastructure of VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Park in Block 10, Hung Nguyen town.
* Businesses with more than 60 workers suffering from pneumoconiosis need to be severely punished.
Mr. Tran Minh Tue - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Health said that after nearly 1 month of working, the occupational disease investigation team established by this Department under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee had initial results of health examinations for workers who have been working at Chau Tien Company Limited (located in Nghi Loc district). This is a company with a series of workers suffering from silicosis in a short period of time, of which 6 people have died.
After nearly 1 month, we examined 81 people who have been working at Chau Tien Company. Of these, 3 people were found to have silicosis and were now re-examined, while 78 people were examined for the first time. The results showed that out of 81 people, 57 had silicosis," said Mr. Tue, adding that of these 57 people, 19 had severe disease, 25 had moderate disease, and 13 had mild disease. In addition, there were 2 people whose X-ray films were blurry, so they could not be identified.
* In order to carry out the peak period of clearing encroachment on traffic safety corridors, since the end of November, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (PC06) - Nghe An Provincial Police, Vinh City Police, the City Urban Order Management Team, and Nghi Phu Commune authorities have coordinated to clear the encroachment on sidewalks and roads in front of the Provincial General Hospital.
One of the most feasible solutions proposed by the Vinh City and Provincial Police is to arrange a new business location to the west of the hospital (back gate) to move all businesses in the front to the back to temporarily operate, to relieve the chaos and congestion at the front gate, and also create a place for people to do business and trade, serving patients visiting for examination.
