Among them are the leaders' joint statement on strengthening strategic bilateral economic cooperation until 2030, as well as the joint statement after the 22nd Annual Summit on the Long-term and Extensive Partnership between Russia and India.
Target to reach 100 billion dollars in trade
The two leaders have set a target of $100 billion in trade by 2030, Russian presidential aide Maxim Oreshkin said after the Russia-India summit on Tuesday. “The trade target of $100 billion by 2030 has been set,” Oreshkin said.

According to a joint statement issued after the bilateral meeting, the two countries pledged to work towards removing trade barriers between the two countries. “Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated… to work towards eliminating non-tariff barriers to bilateral trade,” the statement said.
According to the statement, the two countries will also continue to develop bilateral payment systems through the use of national currencies. The two countries also consider developing cooperation in the energy sector, including nuclear power, oil refining, petrochemicals, as well as ensuring bilateral and international energy security as top priorities.
Security cooperation
The two leaders reaffirmed the importance of security dialogue and agreed to strengthen the regional security architecture. “The leaders stressed the importance of security dialogue at the National Security Advisor and National Security Council levels on bilateral and regional issues,” the statement said.
The sides also agreed to step up joint efforts to develop an equal and indivisible regional security architecture, and to enhance consultations on integration and development initiatives in the Greater Eurasia and Indo-Pacific regions.
Russia and India have agreed to expand exchanges of military delegations and maintain the momentum of joint military cooperation. “Military and military-technical cooperation has traditionally been a pillar of the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia, which has grown stronger over decades of joint efforts and fruitful cooperation,” the statement said.
International cooperation
Russia and India will continue to interact within the G20, BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on important issues.
“The sides agreed to continue interacting on the G20, BRICS, SCO platforms on important issues such as enhancing the sustainability of international supply chains, adhering to free and fair trade rules, and combating the negative impacts of climate change,” the statement said.

According to the statement, the relationship between the two countries remains “sustainable” despite the complex and unstable geopolitical situation.
Mr. Putin also voiced support for India becoming a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council when the Council is reformed and expanded.
“Both sides called for comprehensive reform of the UN Security Council to reflect contemporary global realities and make it more representative, effective… in addressing issues of international peace and security. Russia reaffirmed its firm support for India’s permanent membership in a reformed and expanded UN Security Council,” the statement said.
Before concluding his two-day official visit to Russia and leaving Moscow, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit India in 2025.
