Daily Mail reported that billionaire Isak Andic - founder of high-end fashion chain Mango, died after a hiking accident in Spain on December 14.

Media reports said the 71-year-old billionaire slipped and fell from a 150m-high cliff while hiking with relatives in the Montserrat caves near Barcelona.

His son was also present at the scene of the accident and quickly contacted the police. After arriving, the police dispatched a helicopter and a specialized mountain unit to the scene.

Isak Andic was born in 1953, of Turkish descent. He and his family immigrated to Spain when he was 13 years old. In 1984, he founded the fashion brand Mango, quickly making it one of the prominent names in the international fashion industry.

Mango is now one of the world's leading fashion groups, present in more than 120 markets. Last year, the fashion brand's total revenue was 3.1 billion euros (about 3.26 billion USD).

At the time of his death, Isak Andic held the title of honorary chairman of Mango and had an estimated fortune of $4.5 billion.
