At 10:00 a.m. on March 28, Uniqlo AEON Mall Hue store opened to welcome customers.

On this occasion, Uniqlo launched the UTme! Collection “Delicately blended with Hue’s rice” with 6 motifs honoring the beauty of local culture, life and cuisine, created by Le Trang and Le Trong Hoang - 2 young artists born and raised in Hue.
Le Trong Hoang's 3 designs were inspired by typical objects of Hue: the left-leaning pillow, the long-lung drum and Thanh Tien paper flowers. Also exploiting the theme of traditional craft villages, artist Le Trang chose the image of the poem conical hat - an image closely associated with life and has become a symbol of Hue women. In addition, Le Trang's creations also depict familiar dishes in the rustic life of many generations of Hue people, which are two designs of Bun Bo Hue bowls and trays of Banh Beo, Nam, Loc.

Mr. Akiyama Naoki - General Director of the brand, commented that Hue is a potential market with a rich culture and efforts to transform into a modern, dynamic city. In particular, Hue becoming a centrally-governed city in 2025 will open up many new opportunities, attract investment and promote socio-economic growth here. In addition, the Central region of Vietnam is also showing breakthrough developments, becoming an important economic and tourism center of the country.

“Uniqlo Vietnam will continue to strive to become a part of the daily life of Hue people, spreading traditional indigenous values and committing to develop in parallel with Hue's economy - people - society,” Mr. Akiyama Naoki added.
Uniqlo Vietnam representative shared that the revenue from the new collection will be used to donate necessary medical equipment and machinery to serve the care and treatment of children being treated at Hue Central Hospital.
