Global significance of special military operations in Ukraine
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia's special military operation in Ukraine has global significance because it protects an equal multipolar world order.
“ The military operation is of particular global significance because it protects the multipolar world order, where all states are equal without exception ,” said Sergei Lavrov.
According to Mr. Lavrov, the United Nations Charter states that members of this organization are based on the basis of equality in national sovereignty, while the US and its allies do not respect or comply with this principle.
“ The majority of the world is interested in ending the current situation, when the United States demands from everyone not respect for international law, but for a rules-based order ,” the Russian Foreign Minister stressed.
American scholar: Russia is gaining the upper hand
American political scientist John Mearsheimer said in an interview with the YouTube channel Judging Freedom that Russia is gaining the upper hand in the conflict in Ukraine and the US is aware of this.
“ Russia is winning and people in the US administration probably know this and they understand that there is no way to reverse the situation, no matter how much rhetoric is being used. They need to understand that Ukraine is heading for a serious disaster ,” said Mr. Mearsheimer.

According to this expert, the situation will only get worse and the White House will face a real disaster as a result. Expert Mearsheimer said that there is no way out for Washington in the current situation, so the US is frantically hoping to find some miracle solution.
“ President Putin has made it clear that he considers the use of Western weapons to attack deep into Russia as a declaration of war by the West, and especially by the United States ,” the American scholar emphasized.
Factors driving Ukraine's “victory plan”
President Zelensky recently spoke about the factors driving the country's “victory plan.”
The Ukrainian president said he would discuss all the details of the “victory plan” with US President Joe Biden and hoped to receive his support.
According to Mr. Zelensky, most decisions from the “victory plan” depend specifically on Mr. Biden and other allies, but there are some points that depend on the goodwill and support of the United States.
Regarding the time frame for making decisions, the Ukrainian President said that the “victory plan” based on decisions will take place from October to December and this process cannot be delayed.
“ The whole plan is based on quick decisions from our partners” and “we really want to see this ,” Mr. Zelensky stressed.
US continues to provide weapons to Ukraine
US officials revealed that the country is preparing a $375 million military aid package for Ukraine, breaking a months-long trend of providing smaller aid packages to Kiev to serve military operations against Russia.
The new aid package comes at a pivotal moment in the war, as Russia attacks Ukraine's energy grid ahead of the coming winter.
The aid package, expected to be announced next week, includes patrol boats, additional ammunition for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), 155mm and 105mm artillery shells, spare parts and other weapons, according to the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The type of weapons and the size of the aid package could change in the coming days before it is signed by the US president.
