Huynh Tran Y Nhi was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023 on July 22. The beauty born in 2002 is a student of Business Administration, International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University. She is 1.75m tall with sexy measurements of 79-59-89cm. In addition to the Miss World Vietnam 2023 crown, Y Nhi was also in the Top 5 Miss Sea, Top 16 Miss Charity and won the Miss Fashion award within the framework of the contest, so she went straight to the top 20 finalists.

Before being crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023, Huynh Tran Y Nhi won the runner-up prize in the contest "Charming Students of Binh Dinh 2022".

After the uproar over her statement after being crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023, Miss Ý Nhi decided to study to improve herself. Currently, she is studying abroad in Australia at the University of Sydney for 2 years.

Miss Ý Nhi learns to improve herself every day

2023 must be a memorable milestone in Miss Ý Nhi's life. Is there anything that makes you happy and regretful when looking back at this milestone?

- 2023 has brought me a wonderful journey at Miss World Vietnam. Becoming the winner of Miss World Vietnam is a big and meaningful milestone that I have achieved in my youth. However, there have been things that happened that I did not want, but I understand that this world is big and I still need to improve a lot. I have continued to study my program at the school (University of Sydney - PV), always listening, learning and improving myself every day.

Currently, what experiences has Miss Ý Nhi had about life, friendships, and part-time jobs in Australia?

- I feel that everyone here is very friendly and sociable. This gives me very good experiences in studying, working...

Specifically, what will a busy day's schedule be like for Miss Ý Nhi?

- My day usually starts with going to school in the morning. Then I go to school, go to work in the afternoon and do homework, study online, clean the house.

What part-time jobs is Miss Ý Nhi currently doing and planning to do in Australia?

- Currently, I am working as a sales person for a store in Sydney. This job helps me learn how to communicate in daily life and also has the opportunity to understand more about fashion. At the same time, I use the money I earn to help many people in need.

Miss Ý Nhi reveals first time "celebrating Tet online"

This year is also the first year Miss Ý Nhi celebrates Tet in Australia. How does the reigning Miss World Vietnam feel when she has to be away from home and family during the Tet holiday?

- Because this is the first year celebrating Tet far away, it is inevitable that I will feel homesick, miss the days before Tet when I clean the house and cook banh chung. Therefore, I hope that next year I can arrange to return home to reunite with my family.

When celebrating Lunar New Year 2024 away from home, what special plans has Miss Ý Nhi made to celebrate Tet in the West?

- Since people in Australia celebrate the New Year, I will still go to school and work for the Lunar New Year 2024. Besides, I will take the opportunity to go to the temple to burn incense and pray for a new year full of joy and happiness. I will also call home to "celebrate Tet online" (laughs).

In Miss Ý Nhi's memories of Tet, which Tet memory is the most unforgettable?

- The memory of Tet that I remember most is when I was young, my sisters and I practiced singing "Five yellow apricot blossoms" together and sang it for the whole family on the morning of the first day of Tet. Instead of wishing each other a happy new year, we danced and sang together to receive lucky money from the whole family.

What are the delicious dishes and traditional customs during the Lunar New Year of Miss Y Nhi's family?

- My favorite Tet dishes are banh chung and braised pork. Last Tet, I tried to cook banh chung successfully, so I hope that if I can find enough ingredients in Australia, I will continue to cook banh chung and film a vlog to share with everyone (laughs).

Gaining weight during Tet is inevitable. Has Miss Ý Nhi ever had to face this? Do you have any “tricks” to maintain your current slim figure, especially during Tet?

- Actually, I'm someone who has a hard time gaining weight, so I eat quite freely during Tet.

What are Miss Y Nhi's wishes and plans for the new year of Giap Thin 2024?

- The goal I want to achieve in the year of the Dragon 2024 is to complete my studies well and improve myself to become even better. My team and I are also preparing projects for next year, I hope everyone will follow and support.
