This is one of the efforts to contribute to enhancing women's empowerment and gender equality in the workplace and throughout the value chain of Nestlé Vietnam.

As a pioneer, Nestlé Vietnam shares practical models applied in the NESCAFÉ Plan, aiming to enhance women's empowerment and gender equality.

According to Ms. Le Thi Hoai Thuong, Senior External Relations Manager, Nestlé Vietnam, in addition to implementing a sustainable coffee cultivation program in the direction of regenerative agriculture to improve the quality of Vietnamese coffee beans, reduce emissions and support improved income for farmers, the Nestlé Plan program implemented by Nestlé in the Central Highlands provinces since 2011 has also contributed to enhancing the role of women in sustainable coffee cultivation.

In addition to Nestlé Plan, the “Nestlé with Women” program based on strategic cooperation between Nestlé Vietnam and the Vietnam Women’s Union has attracted more than 4,600 rural women in the period 2020-2022. The program helps empower rural women, equip them with business skills and at the same time help women have opportunities to increase their income.
