In August 2008, Dong Phu Technical Rubber Joint Stock Company (DORUFOAM) started construction. DORUFOAM is a subsidiary of Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Company (DORUCO), a member of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRG). DORUFOAM is also the first and only unit in VRG to produce foam, mattresses, and pillows from 100% natural rubber.
With a rubber area of over 10,000 hectares, of which over 9,000 hectares have been exploited with an output of over 17,000 tons/year from Dong Phu Rubber Company, DORUFOAM inherits an abundant and high-quality source of rubber latex. From here, DORUFOAM has invested in new technology lines, processing high-end product lines to meet the needs of a large number of customers.
Coming to DORUFOAM headquarters in Tan Lap commune (Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province), we witnessed with our own eyes the process of "transforming" liquid rubber latex into flexible and durable mattresses and pillows.
At DORUFOAM, the entire advanced technology line is transferred from Malaysia, with modern machinery imported from Germany. In particular, DORUFOAM has a team of nearly 100 young, dynamic, highly qualified employees.
DORUFOAM mattress and pillow products are also produced in a completely closed process from selecting rubber tree varieties - planting - tapping - processing centrifuged latex at the processing factory of Dong Phu Rubber Company.
Mr. Dam Duy Thao, General Director of DORUFOAM shared that DORUFOAM always implements and maintains the quality management system ISO 9001:2015, environment 14001:2015, occupational health and safety according to ISO 45001:2018. Mr. Thao emphasized that sustainable development must go hand in hand with environmental protection through systems and measures to reduce emissions and prevent pollution.
Accordingly, latex raw materials do not use preservatives, the products are guaranteed to be friendly to consumers on the market. Modern waste treatment process with microbiological filter ponds, wastewater filtration process into clean water for reuse...
Finished mattresses and pillows will be thoroughly tested for hardness, elongation at break, etc. All products leaving the factory meet the standards for rubber pillows and mattresses, jointly certified by the Malaysian Rubber Department (LGM) and the Malaysian Rubber Research Institute (RRIMCORP).
With great efforts, in 2015, DORUFOAM was honored to receive a souvenir from former President Nguyen Minh Triet on the occasion of the inauguration of the S'tieng ethnic cultural reserve in Bom Bo (Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province). Here, former President Nguyen Minh Triet encouraged officials and workers in the rubber industry to further promote the strengths of the industry to continuously develop, reduce the export of raw latex to the outside market, and increase the value of DORUFOAM mattresses and pillows.
