In December 2023, Hong Dao Chu Lai Joint Stock Company continued to open another factory in Dong Que Son Industrial Park (IP). At this new facility, all machinery and equipment are imported from advanced countries in the world such as Germany, Japan, China... ensuring mandatory requirements on environmental protection during the production process.
In Quang Nam, as of early December 2024, out of 258 investment projects in 14 industrial parks, most of them meet green criteria, have little or no impact on the environment, contributing to the formation of a sustainable production enterprise ecosystem.
The thinking and awareness of all levels, sectors and enterprises about industrial development are increasingly changing. In particular, the shift in perspective from rapid development to sustainable development; from simple, multi-industry industry to specialized investment in supporting each other such as automobile and textile auxiliary products is increasingly increasing.
In particular, the application of clean production, economical and efficient use of resources associated with the development of high-tech industries, energy saving, emission reduction towards green growth and low carbon emissions has become an investment trend of domestic and foreign enterprises.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, in the orientation of attracting investment in industrial parks and industrial clusters, Quang Nam prioritizes industries with high knowledge content and do not cause environmental pollution to create a green and sustainable ecosystem.

Green growth and sustainable development have become the goals of many Quang Nam businesses operating in various fields and industries, most clearly the tourism business community.
Since 2022, Quang Nam has become a pioneering locality in the country in implementing the construction of green destinations associated with the promulgation of a set of green tourism criteria applicable to 6 types of tourism, including resorts, hotels, homestays, travel businesses, tourist attractions and community tourism attractions, initially bringing positive results, creating a ripple effect in the community and local businesses.
As of December 2024, 32 enterprises have been granted green tourism certificates by the People's Committee of Quang Nam province according to the Green Tourism Criteria Set with levels 2/3 and 3/3 Ngoc Linh ginseng leaves (the decision to recognize green tourism standards is shown by the Ngoc Linh ginseng leaf logo, with 3 levels from 1 Ngoc Linh ginseng leaf to 3 Ngoc Linh ginseng leaves).
For example, at Silk Sense Hoi An Hotel, the first requirement for all employees is to master the content and principles of green tourism practices during work and customer service.
Mr. Tran Thai Do - owner of Silk Sense Hoi An hotel said that right from the design and construction stage, Silk Sense also followed environmentally friendly criteria such as low construction density (30%), the rest is airy green space.
Construction materials only use AAC autoclaved aerated bricks (instead of traditional red bricks that use clay, coal, and heat that affect the environment). In particular, the Inverter VRV4 Hot Water central air conditioning system also uses a condenser that does not release heat into the air but returns it to the water system, helping to heat up for guests' daily activities, reusing the circulating exhaust gas...
Similarly, some travel businesses such as Emic Travel, Hoian Express, DMC Travel... all determined that green products will play a key role in attracting customers.
