(Dan Tri) - Although there is still about a month left until Lunar New Year, many young people in Ho Chi Minh City are already wearing Ao Dai to take photos to celebrate Tet early.
In recent days, many young people in Ho Chi Minh City have flocked to famous places in the center such as Ben Thanh Market, Turtle Lake, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office... to take photos to welcome Tet early.
In the last days of 2024, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City is quite cool and sunny. The area in front of Ben Thanh Market (District 1) is always a favorite destination for "beauties" who love to take photos in Ao Dai.
"Taking advantage of the cool weather at the end of the year, we took a set of commemorative photos together, to mark the end of 2024 and the beginning of the new year 2025," Hai Anh (21 years old) shared.
Many young people choose traditional ao dai with accessories such as scarves, bamboo baskets... The service of renting a cyclo for taking photos is quite popular. Each rental costs about 50,000-70,000 VND/20 minutes.
"We chose Ben Thanh market as the first destination for this year-end photo shoot, because it is considered one of the iconic landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City and is also very suitable for taking photos in Tet ao dai," said Nguyen Le Ai Thu.
A group of young people wearing colorful ao dai are filming together, everyone wants to have beautiful moments to celebrate Tet. Similarly, the Turtle Lake area (District 3) also attracts a lot of young people to come and play and take pictures.

Turtle Lake is the most chosen check-in location by young people during holidays and Tet in Ho Chi Minh City. Dang Tuong Vy (19 years old, Hutech student) and her university friends filmed a tiktok at Turtle Lake. "We have been playing together for more than 2 years, this is also the first time the whole group took Tet photos together. After Turtle Lake, we will go to Ho Chi Minh City Post Office to check-in again", Tuong Vy shared. Some other areas such as Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Nguyen Van Binh Book Street... are also bustling during these last days of the year. The weather during New Year's Eve in Ho Chi Minh City is quite nice, cool, sunny, with temperatures around 23-31 degrees Celsius, favorable for outdoor events and activities to celebrate the New Year.
