Khanh Hoa Received 490 million VND transferred from a stranger, Nguyen Gia Hung, 18 years old, and his father went to the bank in Cam Ranh City to verify and transfer the money.
The male student in class 12A9, Ngo Gia Tu High School (Cam Ranh City) said the money was transferred on March 25. However, Hung did not notice it at the time and only discovered it the next day.
"My dad set up this account for me to pay my tuition, but I was both worried and nervous when I suddenly received a large amount of money," Hung said, adding that he was about to tell his family when his father received a call from someone claiming to be the account owner asking to return the money.

After verifying the name and account number, which matched, Hung's father made an appointment with the person who mistakenly transferred the money to go to the bank the next day to return it. "My account is limited and cannot transfer large amounts of money at once, so I asked the bank for support, which is both more accurate and more reassuring," Hung said.
Ms. Pham Thi Huong, living in Hai Duong - the person who transferred the money by mistake, said that two days ago she transferred money for business through a bank account. The next day, the partner said she still hadn't received the money, she panicked, checked and found out that she had transferred the money by mistake. After consulting with the bank, she contacted the bank account number (which was also Hung's father's phone number).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, Principal of Ngo Gia Tu High School, assessed Hung as a sociable student with a spirit of striving in studying. "The school will award him a certificate of merit and commend him to spread this good deed," Ms. Yen said.
