In 2024, Nam Giang District Party Committee completed the launch of a book of historical events of Giang district (1885 - 1975); the work History of revolutionary struggle and construction of La Êê commune (1945 - 2020); launched the District Party Committee's Traditional Office; collected and introduced more than 100 documentary images of Nam Giang district through the periods to participate in the photo book "Quang Nam past and present".
In addition, the emulation movement to build "four good party cells" and "four good grassroots party organizations" has been regularly strengthened and promoted. During the year, the locality admitted 114 new party members, exceeding the target assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee by 3.6%.
During the year, career counseling exchanges were organized in 7 localities with more than 10 participating enterprises, attracting more than 900 workers and high school students from the localities to attend; 14 vocational training classes were opened for 470 rural workers; 53 workers were introduced to work abroad. In addition, funds were allocated to support the elimination of 787 temporary houses according to Resolution 13/2023/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council and Decision 90/2022/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.
The district reduced 693 poor households (equivalent to 9.8%), equal to 177.7% of the resolution target, reaching 192.5% of the target assigned by the province. The poverty rate of Nam Giang district decreased to 25.76%.
Up to now, Nam Giang has completed 20/20 targets according to the resolution, of which 13/20 targets exceeded the plan.
